Personal data

Data submitted via the contact form (name, email, telephone, description of your situation) is processed by the firm solely to answer your request and, where appropriate, to open a file. It is neither sold nor passed to any third party: the form is handled by the site itself, with no external provider. Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, exercised at contact@cabinet-dechamps.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris).

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. An advertising tracker from Meta Platforms Ireland, the Meta pixel, may be placed in your browser, for the sole purpose of knowing which adverts bring the people who contact the firm. Nothing is loaded before you agree: neither the tracker, nor even the request that fetches Meta's script. A banner asks for that consent; declining takes the same single action as accepting and removes nothing from the site. Your choice is kept in your browser and you may withdraw it at any time by clearing this site's data. The signals sent to Meta record that a contact form was submitted, that an appointment was booked or that a contact link was clicked; they contain neither the content of your message nor the description of your situation.

Paid consultations

A one-hour consultation with Maître Maximilien Dechamps may be booked and paid for from the contact page, at €250 including VAT at 20 %. This fixed fee covers the meeting, its preparation and the answers given during it; it does not cover any later work on the matter — drafting, replying to the tax authorities, appeals, representation — which would be the subject of a separate fee agreement signed before any work begins. The slot is held while payment is made, then released if the payment does not go through. You may move the appointment by telling the firm; an appointment cancelled without notice remains payable. As the consultation is concluded at a distance, a consumer has a fourteen-day right of withdrawal: if the meeting is to take place before that period ends, immediate performance is requested and the fee remains due for the work carried out. Payment is handled by Stripe Payments Europe; the firm never sees or stores card details. An invoice is issued by the firm.
